DESCRIPTION

In the ocean, we encounter 30% of the existing cetacean species, including whales, orcas, and dolphins, marking the highest concentration worldwide. Additionally, there are sea lions and seals, giant manta rays, various species of sharks, tunas, billfish like the massive marlin, six turtle species, giant squids, sea snakes, rare pelagic fish, and hundreds of invertebrates. The total number of recorded species is approximately 1,200, which is four times greater than that observed in the Mediterranean Sea.

This shot captures the essence of these majestic marine mammals, offering a privileged glimpse into their daily lives. Sea lions are often spotted along the rocky coasts of North and South America, preferring areas with abundant fish for sustenance. Sea lions are social animals and tend to form large colonies. Within these colonies, complex interactions among group members can be observed.
